Here is another photo of some of the many dedicated runners in the recent P.F. Chang's Rock & Roll Marathon.
Most runners wore caps or hats, but some did not, even if they had heads that are shaved or bald like the runner in the foreground of this photo. I hope that he has a high spf sun block on his head. Running at least 3 hours in the Arizona sun without sun protection would likely cause a sun burn, and skin cancer is a big issue in Arizona for light skinned people who do not take precautions.
This week we have photos of the wildlife of Africa posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

For the reason you mentioned, I have been wearing hats outside more often than I used to, and I still have a full head of hair and don't run marathons or spend much time outdoors.
Tell me about it! I've already had three spots removed.
You can see the red tags on their shoes. They have a computer chip in them. That's how the runners know how fast the ran each leg of the run. That and synthetic shirts might be the top two great inventions for the marathoner.
