Last night was the annual ARTrageous fundraiser for the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.  The even featured a reception with a silent auction in a tent outside the Scottsdale Center, then a dinner in the lobby, followed by a concert by Pink Martini.

This is a photo of the dinner in the theater lobby.  It was a delightful event.  By coincidence, we were seated at a table where the woman sitting beside me went to the same high school in suburban St. Louis as my husband, both in the 1960's.  They had some of the same teachers and knew some of the same people.

Today is Sunday, so we have new photos posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.  This week we are showing photos of Budapest, Hungary.

Photo: Dine Out with the Chefs

This photo shows the rest of the outfit worn by the person who was wearing the high heels that I showed yesterday.  I took this photo at the recent Dine Out with the Chefs even at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, which I have shown recently.  One of the chefs is In the background ready to serve patrons.

I never would have taken a photo such as this people picture or yesterday's photo of the high heels if I did not do this Daily Photo site.

Did I mention that the Dine Out with the Chefs event was a sell-out?  The crowd in the lobby is a good thing, as  each person in the crowd represents a $75 donation to the youth education and outreach programs of the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.

Here is a link to the website of the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.  In addition to operating an excellent venue for the performing arts, with a full schedule of concerts, it operates the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and an public art program.

Last Sunday was a special event at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.  "Dine Out with the Chefs" featured chefs from 21 local restaurants.  They prepared and served samples from behind tables lining the lobby of the Center.

The event was a sell-out, with proceeds benefitting the Scottsdale Center's youth education and outreach programs.
