Here is a photo of our Sonoran Desert in bloom.You can see the Palo Verde trees in bloom with their yellow flowers, the Cholla cactus in bloom, the creosote bush in bloom, and the saguaro cactus with their buds at this time of the year.

This photo should contradict stereotypes about the Arizona desert. It is not desolate sand like the Sahara. It is bursting with vegetation and color.
