Here is a photo showing some of the houses built on Camelback Mountain.These houses were nestled into an area on the side of the mountain.
The light colored houses does not blend in very well.

I don't think the grey house above and to the right of the light colored house blends in very well either.
This photo deserves to be enlarged to get a perspective on the size of these homes perched high for a view.
It seems like most people try to build houses that blend in with the scenery but, lately I'm seeing newer structures that stand out a little too much.
What a great view they must have.
