We are back at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale walking along the Lakes and Indian Bend Wash.And, here is this cute duck wearing what looks like a mask.

This is a beautiful and unusual duck. He has a teal head, sort of like a mallard, but the rest of him is brown. I do not know much about ducks. I do not know if this is a cross between two breeds of ducks. All I know is that it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, it probably quacks like a duck, . . . it must be a duck.
The vibrancy and pattern of bird feathers never ceases to fill me with awe.
That is a beautiful duck! Lots of color.
