Each year the City Daily Photo bloggers post their favorite photo from all of the photos posted in the previous calendar year. This image that I took at the slot canyons outside of Page, Arizona on Navajo lands is my favorite for 2009.I like the texture and color of this magnificent slot canyon. I am looking forward to seeing everyone's favorite photos.

In answer to your question, yes, Julie has had the photo enlarged. It and three other photos from the slot canyons are mounted, poster sized, on the wall of our media room. THe deep red colors are a perfect accent for the reddish leather of the couch, recliner, chaise and ottoman in the room.

It is a fantastic photo indeed.
Ive seen photos like this one before and they always make my heart clutch. It's so extraordinarily, sensuously, visually arresting. A perfect choice for theme day.
