The Saffron Tower stands strong and colorful in front of Papago Mountain.
Some of you may remember that the Saffron Tower was lit at night and created quite a glow.

A beautiful contrast!!
At first I thought that it was a drape of yellow falling from above. His yellows are magnificent. The Minneapolis Art Institute has an equally delightful piece which is a chandelier that hangs as a chandelier in the middle of a large foyer at the entrance. Can never tire of Chihuly pieces.
I so miss the Chihuly sculptures!
Nice contrast.
Contrast... I'll say. Beautiful flowers against that harst rock.
thanks a lot. let's see
Striking! Papago mountain brings back lots of memories. In 1959, Lois' grandmother visited us in our apartment in Tempe. She was no young chicken but had to go climb up Papago mountain! I have photos somewhere!
Have a wonderful weekend, Julie!
The rocks behind the tower are very interesting. Great setting!
Thats a beautiful flower! Nice light, too.
You have a very nice blog!
I love Chihuly. This is his home here where I am,..WA.
Big talent!
I love this shot, I've seen Chihuly pieces in Jerusalem!
It looks so organic.
Beautiful indeed to see the light and small details in front of the mountain sight.
Please have a nice Sunday.
Beautiful photo - I love the colors!
Another wonderful Chihuly piece. This one looks fuzzy.
I thought this was a flower - very well done and a lovely contrast with the rocky backdrop.
Cheers.
