Water can make fascinating designs in sandstone.
Can you imagine the power of the water rushing through this canyon during flash flooding?
I hope you are enjoying photos from my photography tour to the slot canyons and Vermillion Cliffs.
We also have New Zealand photos up on our travel site. Check them out at Viva la Voyage.

This has been a wonderful series.
I love the slots, the colors and patterns are so intriguing.
I see more beautiful satin ribbons!
I would love to go to a gallery or a museum and see these all together, framed and hanging. They are so stunning.
Your photos of slot canyons remind me of giant pieces of fudge. I think the series is quite beautiful but I cannot imagine living without an abundance of water nearby: lakes, ocean, or rivers. Nonetheless, I'm fascinated by New Mexico and Arizona, one of which might be our next winter location instead of Mexico.

So wonderful pictures, it like a dream journey.
A very atistic way to stick out one's tongue and to pause for a picture...
Beautiful and stunning photo. A wonderful capture of light and color! I'm jealous.
These are gorgeous. Seems like silk rather than rock.
I love both the color and the texture.
I just want to reach into the photo and touch it. These really are so inviting.
Awesome texture & colors!
Another very lovely photo! really enjoying this series =)
I like the name Secret Canyon, and no -- I cannot imagine water gushing through. It's too serene and dry.
