Pedicabs are popular in downtown Scottsdale.  They ferry people (mostly visitors, I assume) throughout downtown on shorter strips, such as between nightclubs and bars in the entertainment district

This is a photo of a pedicab driver surveying the scene outside the Valley Ho resort in Scottsdale.

The public safety issues regarding the pedicabs are important and somewhat controversial, as I will explain tomorrow.
