This is part of the Paradise Valley Fire Station, with a large ocotillo cactus in front. Paradise Valley is a suburb of only 14,000 residents sandwiched between Scottsdale and Phoenix in the area around Camelback Mountain and Mummy Mountain.
The town has recently built two fire stations to take greater control over its services, although I believe that they are staffed by fire fighters from the City of Phoenix under contract to the town.
This week we have photos of Lake Nicaragua posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

The bright red pops out and the shadows make an interesting pattern.
It is good that Paradise Valley has fire stations, but they must leave town for gas, as there are no gas stations in Paradise Valley.
I love how the sun is making that roofline glow.
Nice looking fire station.
