Photo: Palm tree and the evening sky

Sunsets often bring different bands of color, was the case the evening that I took this photo from our back yard.  The bottom of the cloud layer caught the glow from the setting sun, but  the clouds were too thick to allow the color to penetrate.  The skies were clearer closer to the horizon.

Our neighbor's palm tree accented the scene.
