While taking photos of the dove that I showed yesterday, the dove stretched his wings for a second and I was able to get a photo of the underside of his wings and his exposed body.
His feathers under his wing are gray in color, whereas he is otherwise tan. I do not know if the tan is due to the desert dirt and dust or if the dove naturally has the two-tone coloration.
