Some of the vendors are local folks who produce the food. Some appear to be more commercial. For example, a gourmet olive oil store on Main Street, just one block away, has a food booth. I guess it is good advertising for the store.
People seem to enjoy browsing and sampling the offerings.

Today is Saturday. It would be a good day to stop by the Farmer's Market, early in the day before it gets too hot.
