Here is a photo of the back side of Camelback Mountain. Such a monumental mountain.
It is very popular with hikers. The Cholla Trail goes up the back side, climbing 1,200 feet (365 m) in 1.5 miles (2.4 km). To reduce the number of people who park along residential streets to go hiking, on weekends they are running shuttle service from the parking lot at the nearby Paradise Valley Town Hall.
The Echo Canyon Trail leaves from near the head of Camelback. It has a small parking lot, but it fills up on weekend mornings.
This week we have photos of the architecture of ancient Cambodia posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

Both hikes up Camelback are rather strenuous.
