It is motivating me to go on a walk. I don't jog or run but these runners are inspiring. My secretary gets up and runs 3 to 5 times a week for an hour or more. truly amazing

Yesterday was the Boston Marathon. The people who run distances possess an amazing combination of effort, discipline and determination.

I live in an area that is absolutely criss-crossed by runners and walkers from before sunrise and long after sunset. If you don't walk regularly, it is time to grab and friend and start. The American Heart Association recommends wearing a pedometer and getting in 10,000 steps every day. That is roughly five miles, depending on your stride.
