Here is the pedestrian walkway along the side of the new Hoover Dam bypass bridge that I have showed during the last few weeks. As you can see, it is popular with tourists who take the time to drive around and walk up to the bridge.You can also see the concrete wall that keeps the tourists safe from the passing highway traffic and that also blocks the view from vehicles so that they will not be distracted or slow down to look at the amazing view of the dam far below.

Okay, it doesn't look as scary as I thought it would look. Maybe I could do it after all.
I am hoping to visit the dam now that they have so many improvements. that walkway really looks great(and safe)
What struck me about this photo is how fun it will be to look at it in 25-30 years and see how people and styles have changed and the bridge stayed the same.
