This river looks too small to be such an important water source for so many people in the desert southwest.
At this point, the river has already been damned up by the Glen Canyon dam to form Lake Powell a the Utah-Arizona northern border, then it has flowed through the Grand Canyon, then into Lake Mead behind Hoover Damn, and at this point spot it is flowing towards Yuma, then into Mexico and the Gulf of California.

What a pretty capture.
That's an amazing image Julie, powerful.
Beautiful view of the river and mountains.
This river is located in such a beautiful setting. Back packed once down to river in the Grand Canyon. Would highly recommend it.
When you hear the term "Colorado River Gorge" this is what you should picture.
