The weather is nice so we are back to hiking.Here is a photo from our hike on the west side of Camelback Mountain.

Since you grew up in the Arizona desert, it is a good thing that you like rocks. If you prefer the countryside covered in lush meadows and thick forests, you would be sorely disappointed.
what a remarkable palette you have to work with there. no wonder southwestern art is so distinct.
Camelback Mountain is such a colorful place to hike!
I grew up in Boston, but I too like the landscape of Arizona. Especially the rocks you have been showing.
Great place to hike. You can spot critters this time of year. Watch for those diamond backs.
