Today is theme day worldwide for City Daily Photo Bloggers.
On New Year's Day, each person selects and shares the best photo they posted all year.
I chose this macro of the interior of a colorful orchid. You can hardly tell it is an orchid.
It looks like an amusement park ride. Or, it looks like a modern piece of art. The top section hanging down that is all white looks like a torso of a person. I really like this macro image.

It's amazing! Happy new year!
an excellent image for today's theme, julie. happy new year.
I have not studied the inside of an orchid from such a close perspective. Your cameral lens reveals more than the naked eye.
This is so uplifting and colorful. Love it.

Stunning. You are so right, you can hardly tell it's an orchid. The colours, the shapes, the swirls, the patterns, the vibrancy. Wonderful choice. Happy New Year to you and Dave and Glenda, of course xxx

Re the "Happy New Year" on my blog - I didn't do it, but got it from Amanda at Blogger Buster. The artist was someone named Mooi.

I can't believe that's an orchid! I mean, on closer inspection I can see it is... and I guess it shows what we miss by having such a macro view on our surroundings.
