Today's photo shows the Optima project from the ground looking upwards towards each patio.You can see the greenery and the plants draping over each patio like a waterfall.
The architect, David Hovey, designed special ways to ensure each patio had a yard and lots of green plants instead of a sterile patio with only potted plants.

Does each unit come with a gardener?
i wonder how people get rid of their plant trimmings from all that greenery on their patios. Do they take the clippings into their apartments and out to a trash chute in the hallways?
You know, I don't think I've ever seen those hanging plants.
