I wonder why it is that some people like lizards but not snakes. I like lizards and would respectfully approach any of them but a GIla monsters. Snakes, I would not approach, even if they are not a rattler.

I love lizards too! This one looks like he's a little small for his skin.
Nice photo of this guy. We don't see as many of the Horned Toads as we used too. They have probably moved further into the protection of the desert.
