Can you see the guy in black and white?
There are many interesting and engaged people attending this Native American Hoop Dance Festival at the Heard Museum and there are lots of great things being sold at this market.
And then look at the person competing who is rolling his hoop. All spectator eyes are on him.
Today is theme day and the theme is Festivals and Outdoor markets.
Check out magnificent underwater photos of Aitutaki at Viva la Voyage!

Neat capture. It'd be hard to take your eyes off that guy with the hoop.
He is working hard on that hoop. And he is not so very old either. I suspect the guy in B&W is also a 'hooper' judging from the stuff on the ground next to him.
Lots to look at here.
like the native show! well done!
ciao, Luis
Love when an outdoor market has entertainment such as this. You've captured it so beautifully. Wonderful colours and movement.
This is a fascinating shot. I guess the guy in B&W is also performing?
The crowd is indeed concentrating on the hoop dancer.
You are a people watcher, I see!
Toujours belles vos photos...
Fantastic photo. He reminds me of Karate Kid.

The hoop dancer has such a concentrated look on his face. The clothes are so colorful. You got a great shot.
Hi Julie! I think you know by now that I love your Native American shots and of course this one is gorgeous.

What a great place it must be, where such beauty is possible. Please have a good new month.

I love the orange, it's falmbouyant without being tacky and you're right about the guy in B&W, he looks wonderful.
You captured the look of concentation of the dancer, the energy of the dance, and the obvious pleasure of the onlookers.
This is a unique and wonderful choice for the theme! I would have loved to see his performance.
He looks so familiar. I think he was here for Indian Market in 2009. Wonderful photo!
