We have had very interesting monsoon skies lately. Here is a photo of a monsoon starting late in the day.The color and towers make for an interesting scene.

Terrific capture -- what vibrant color! I've been in tornados; blizzards; hurricanes; hail storms and flash floods. Perhaps the strangest was an intense freak lightning storm here in Florida a few years. I was driving behind a friend on I-75 and her car was struck by lightning while going 60 mph. Totaled the vehicle. And frayed our nerves (to say the least).
My worst storm weren't be a monsoon...

I was in a hurricane in the Florida Keys. We were in a house built up on stilts. We closed all the shutters to cover all of the windows. On the TV they kept showing the movie "Key Largo" over and over again.

Wow! Beautiful orange color. I've been in some pretty scary lightning storms in the rim country of AZ.
