I was a passenger in a car driving on the I-10 freeway on the west side of Phoenix when I saw this big white smoke plume.I grabbed my camera and quickly took this photo from the moving vehicle.
This is a different type of cloud in the sky.

Sure looks like a bad one.
It does not look good and the smoke that day could not hide behind the clouds of these last days.
Must have been a huge fire to create all that smoke! It's funny to hear you say you were on I10 because the same highway goes right through here not 4 miles from my house. I have traveled on that highway all the way from Jacksonville, FL to Phoenix before. Quite a long ride!
Maybe that's the factory where your state's clouds are made. ;-)
