I was playing golf with someone who hit his drive right into the arm of a saguaro cactus. The white ball remained imbedded in the fleshy tissue of the cactus, and it oozed juice from the wound. It looked like it was crying.

Cactus is fascinating. We have a few in our windows started in 1978 - one of which has grown 40 cm. The principle must be: take your time...
