"green" building, with plants on the roofs and terraces the reduce the reflected heat from the buildings. There are lots of shaded walkways, water features and other amenities in the project.
Urban lifestyle options are relatively new to Scottsdale and metro Phoenix. The Phoenix metro area has the lowest density of any metropolitan area in the country because so much of its growth has been suburban sprawl during the past 50 years. (The Phoenix metro area has grown from 50,000 to more than 4 million since 1940.)
People who live in the Optima Camelview project can walk to Scottsdale Fashion Square just one block away, and dozens of nearby restaurants.

When you say green building, is it really 'green', with solar panels, water reusing, etc?
Must be lovely to live in there!
Yes, it does look lovely...and also pricey.
It's gorgeous! And definitely a wonderful thing if it truly is green.
Go GREEN! What a wonderfully designed place! Love all the plants! C'est formidable!
Love the colors!
Very nice place and green even better!
Sounds costly but really nice!
I don't believe I've ever seen this place with such a warm glow.
Very expensive and what a view they must have.
I do like all the plants! They make the building look like it is more a part of the landscape.
It's funny to see a 'high' rise in Scottsdale. I was out there in November and was reminded of how one story the architecture is..compared to the east coast.
The complex looks very nice, and I'm sure it takes a lot of green to live there:)
Am sure that people over here could learn much, while visiting.
Please have you all a wonderful weekend.
Beautiful, very unique looking.
My wife says we can get one. Yipee! That's all I was waiting for! :-)
