This venomous Mohave Rattlesnake is waiting to strike!This month's theme is Waiting. I though this photo was perfect for a Southwest perspective on theme day.
This Mohave rattler was holding position with no movement and I was able to capture this phenomenal close up.
You can see this rattler's eye and eye lid in the first photo. The details of the front of this snake are amazing.
The second photo shows the snake further back. I used a 300 lens to capture the details and was very lucky the snake held still and was in a good location for me to capture this image.
