Saguaro Ribs and Papago Mountain

Now you can really see the hole in the rock on Papago Mountain.

The Saguaro ribs from the dead Saguaro cactus adds a nice foreground to the red mountain.

Note the number of hikers on this gorgeous day! I am glad I live in Scottsdale where we get so much sunshine and can enjoy our winters.

Check out exciting photos from the wonderful pageant at Xcaret in Mexico. The Mayan warrior is a favorite. Just click Viva la Voyage!

This shows the Saguaro ribs very well, which provide structure and strength to the giant, heavy cacti.

I don't think I've ever seen that many hikers on the butte all at once. I guess they are enjoying the gorgeous sunshine and the view.

Sweet! If there were no people in the background, I'd use this one as my new desktop wallpaper...
