This is one of my favorite Saguaros. You also can see the fruit and flower amid the blue sky. I took this photo with my new camera and new lens and you can see the difference as compared to an old photo I posted of this similar cactus. This photo is strikingly better.
Note the holes where birds live and the flowers and fruit that are ripening.
Picking Saguaro fruit is not easy. The saguaros are extremely tall and you do not want to damage the cactus when getting the fruit down. Look for a close-up of the Saguaro flower tomorrow.
