Today is the first day of the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction in Scottsdale, perhaps the world's premier auction for collectable cars. Here is another photo of one of the cars promoting the action that was on display at the Scottsdale Polo Championships in October.
This is an Oldmobile Ninety Eight. My guess is that it is from the mid 1950's. It looks to be in spotless condition.

This week we are showing a few more photos of my recent experience on a river raft trip through the Grand Canyon. I am not a camper, but it was worth it to experience this 10-day adventure to have the opportunity to take photos of this unique wonder of planet Earth
