I have been doing a tradition on my birthday of posting firework photos that I have taken that look like flowers. Happy Birthday to everyone.

I think it is just my excuse to post firework photos at odd times of the year since we all know how hard it is to get good fireworks images.

Colorful Fireworks

Tomorrow is the Fourth of July. Let's celebrate early with this display of fireworks.

Many in the United States will be celebrating the Fourth of July and, hopefully, will have a day off of work to spend with family and friends.

We enjoyed a camp fire and I could not resist taking an up close photo of the red fiery embers.

We hope you cook or roast something delicious today.

The winter season is a great time to share around the fire and the kitchen with friends and family.

Fire Near The Freeway

I was a passenger in a car driving on the I-10 freeway on the west side of Phoenix when I saw this big white smoke plume.

I grabbed my camera and quickly took this photo from the moving vehicle.

This is a different type of cloud in the sky.

Fireworks for New Year's Eve

Happy New Year!

Enjoy the New Year festivities and celebrate with friends and family.

Balloons will fall, music will play, and horns will blow.

I remember a fabulous New Year's Eve spent in Madrid, Spain at Puerto del Sol. Everyone eats 12 grapes at midnight and drinks champagne, as well as sprays champagne everywhere. That was quite a party place.

Firework Flower for My Birthday

I like this photo of fireworks I took with a long exposure last Fourth of July.

The rust and yellow colors are so vibrant. It looks like a flower.

The texture of the explosion as the firework trails falls towards Earth reminds me of a flower.

Because today is my birthday, I am posting it as a birthday flower.
