Photo: Thistle with Dew Drops

Here is a photo of a thistle with dew drops.

It was very cold and we were out walking for a sunrise photo.

It was so cold, and so much dew, that my tripod and camera experienced so much condensation that water started dripping off them. I have never seen that happen before.

You are correct that we do not have dew very often in Arizona. It is not humid enough nor cold enough most of the year.

Lovely thistle bud here. Thistles may be prickly plants but they do produce a lovely flower.
