This photo captures the many types of cactus reaching to the sky and standing guard as Chihuly's The Sun barely peaks through the top left of the photo below the mountain.The tumbling shapes of the cactus are quite interesting to observe at this angle.
Generally, you do not see such a cactus forest as most different types of cactus have some distance from one another.

It is interesting to see a cactus forest. Not something that I come across every day, at least!

I was really surprised at how dense this was too. I've never seen so many so close together.
I've seen Chihuly in an exhibition at SF MOMA but on your blog is a different, more amazing story. Beautiful shot.
