I planted this cactus a few years ago next to the wall of my house. This cactus belongs to the Opuntia family (prickly pears). It looks so much like Gumby that I call it the Gumby cactus. It also looks like people raising their arms so we could call it "Up With People."
It is a funny cactus and thin like a credit card.

This is a great one, it belongs to the genus Opuntia, as the Prickly Pears does.
My cacti keep on blooming, today I was surprised by some beautiful yellow flowers! :-)

I didn't know Gumby, so I had to look him up on Wikipedia. You're right, this cactus does indeed look like him! I love the contrast in this photo.
I call this cacti "Polka(dot)".
