Chihuly's artwork makes my heart skip a beat. This magnificient piece reminds me of the Sunburst Chandelier in the foyer of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts: http://snipurl.com/f02zt If you check this url you'll see it. My grandson, who was 5 at the time, watched the installation of the chandelier over 2 days and I doubt that either one of us will forget it! Great choice for theme day. Had I been in St. Paul instead of Mexico today, I would hav used that chandelier. Check it out, enjoy it and see the "twin" to your selection!
I wanted to say thanks for the visit and the nice comments ... the cats are a re-visit to the last WW post ... this time there are two cats in the same shop window ... http://onthem104.blogspot.com/2009/03/wordless-wednesday_18.html
Chihuly glass towers are awesome. We have one at the Orlando Museum that was purchased after the huge Chiuly exhibit here some years ago. Great choice for the Yellow Theme.
Excellent! One would have never guess from a distance! Thanks for your visit and kind comment! By the way, I posted a follow up to show what's under the yellow wrapper! Cheers!

That is very yellow, and a great piece of art. I'd like something like that in red for my bedroom!

What amazing art. And a great photo.
It's not only the color — it's shaped like the flower's stamen too! Cool!
