Chihuly's Saffron Tower

Chihuly's Saffron Tower at night makes a good image for the theme day of yellow.  All of those squiggly lines of yellow are actually glass art.

Chihuly's: The Nature of Glass Installation is at the Desert Botanical Gardens and runs through May. Happy Yellow Theme Day!

That is very yellow, and a great piece of art. I'd like something like that in red for my bedroom!

Great choice for theme day. The yellow really jumps out from the dark background.

This is a fantastic shot and a great choice for theme day! Is this what you were photographing on Sharon's photo posted yesterday?

Chihuly's artwork makes my heart skip a beat. This magnificient piece reminds me of the Sunburst Chandelier in the foyer of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts:
http://snipurl.com/f02zt If you check this url you'll see it. My grandson, who was 5 at the time, watched the installation of the chandelier over 2 days and I doubt that either one of us will forget it! Great choice for theme day. Had I been in St. Paul instead of Mexico today, I would hav used that chandelier. Check it out, enjoy it and see the "twin" to your selection!

Really cool photo. And how "coincidental" that a picture of you taking this photo was posted yesterday.

JM,
You are correct that this is Julie's photo from the spot where Sharon yesterday on Phoenix Daily Photo showed Julie taking her photo.

Chihuly glass towers are awesome. We have one at the Orlando Museum that was purchased after the huge Chiuly exhibit here some years ago.
Great choice for the Yellow Theme.
