Photo: Agave Leaves and thorns

Transitioning from saguaro cacti, here is a close photo of the thorns on the end of an agave leaf.  Desert plants are delightful to look at, but from not touch.

We went to a party a couple of nights ago, and I walked down the driveway and street back to my car.  After I got home, I found thorns embedded in my pants legs, and I do not even remember touching a cactus.

This week we have photos of the Sepik River tribes and villages posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

There is something very attractive about looking at these agave branches up close like you've done here.

Better to look up close than to brush against them up close.
