Photo: The top of Camelback in the Clouds

We have been having some rain recently, and at times the clouds have  enshrouded Camelback Mountain.   This is a telephoto shot of the top of Camelback Mountain from our back yard.

On a recent rainy morning the clouds revealed bits of Camelback all morning.  This is very unusual weather for Phoenix/Scottsdale, where the sun shines 89% of the daylight hours of the year, the most of any major metropolitan area in the country.

This week we have photos of the colonial architecture of Grenada, Nicaragua, posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

I remember this day. I saw some of those low clouds when I was out driving around.

This looks so different than typical views of Camelback.
