Photo: Musical Instrument Museum Theater Green Room

This is the Green Room at the Musical Instrument Museum. The term "green room" is used to refer to the room where performing talent relaxes and prepares to go on stage.  Apparently they were traditionally painted green.

The Green Room at the MIM has a very pale green hue.

This week we have photos of a charming Irish town, Adare, posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

It is odd how they call green rooms green rooms.

I've toured back stage at different places before and I've never seen a green room that was actually green. I'm glad because this color is much more calming than green would be.

Looks like a comfortable space.
