Photo: Musical Instrument Museum Theater Walls

This is a photo of the walls high up in the interior of the theater in the Musical Instrument Museum.  I assume that the wood is used for acoustical purposes, as the theater has been described as being a perfect concert venue acoustically.

I do not know if the patterns in the installation of the wood serves an acoustical purpose, but it does achieve an aesthetic purpose.

Being a photographer, particularly a Daily Photo photographer, causes one to notice details that otherwise might be overlooked, as we are always on the lookout for a photo opportunity, even in the walls of a theater.

This week we have photos of a charming Irish town, Adare, posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.
