Photo: The Musical Instrument Museum at Night

This is a night photo of the front of the Musical Instrument Museum.

The MIM is a world-class museum in north Phoenix, near Scottsdale, with excellent architecture that includes a cactus garden and area for outdoor performances in front.

The MIM features instruments from around the world, with video and audio screens that show the instruments being performed.  Visitors walk around with head sets and the audio automatically plays whenever walking near the exhibits.

This week we have photos of a night at the opera in Paris posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

I love the architecture of this place but, I've never been up there at night. You must have gone to one of the concerts.

Oh, we're going there in August. Our daughter is a middle school band teacher and we thought she would really enjoy it! Then, on to the Mogollon Rim for 4 days of relaxation!

Love the MIM Museum. It reminds me I must get back there for a performance in that great theater.
