Photo: West Fork Trail, Oak Creek Canyon

The West Fork Trial in Oak Creek Canyon north of Sedona is a very popular with hikers.  The trail head is easily accessible just 15 minutes north of Sedona, a popular and scenic tourist area.  There is good parking at the trail head.

The trail follows the path of the West Fork of Oak Creek.  Footwear that can get wet is a necessity, as the trail crosses the creek several times.

My stepson, Stuart, goes hiking in this area often, and he generously let's me borrow some of his photos to share.

This week we have photos of Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

The West Fork Trail is one of my favorites. I used to take my boys there when they were little, and it is nice to see that Stuart returns to hike the trail as an adult.
