Photo: Finch on as perch

This colorful finch landed on a perch of an agave plant at the Desert Botanical Garden during a recent early Sunday morning walk. The DBG opens on hour early on Sunday for members, so we can enjoy the cooler temperatures and there is more wildlife about before it gets crowded or hot.
