The solar ceremony for the first day of Spring included dancers with torches, and one of the torches lit the little stripe on the sidewalk, which sent a flame burning down the sidewalk to the bridge abutment of the Soleri Bridge.
The fire steaming down the sidewalk was certainly a surprise to the people gathered around.

This is a good use of a telephoto, as you would not want to get a camera with a regular lens this close to a flame.
