These performers on stilts did a routine of walking and contorting themselves into different shapes and configurations, and lit a flair that ran down the length of the sidewalk to the suspension bridge abutment.
This ceremony marked the beginning of Spring. There are special street art exhibitions and performances this weekend that aim to involve the audience. There is also an art fair, and perfect Arizona spring weather.
