Photo: Camelback Mountain Summit

This is the top of Camelback Mountain taken from our back yard, which I am showing as a contrast to my recent posts of the clouds that engulfed the mountain on our rainy day about two weeks ago.

The reddish glow in this photo is caused by the sunrise.  We live just east of Camelback, on the Scottsdale side of the mountain rather than the more typical view from the Phoenix side.   The most attractive times of the day are the first sunlight in the morning, and sunset.

This week we are showing photos featuring the people of Papua New Guinea on our  Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

This looks like a more typical view than your photo yesterday.

You forgot to mention that you go climbing up there from time to time.
