Photo: Classic Car Interior

This is the interior of the car I showed yesterday that is promoting the upcoming Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction that starts on January 13.

My husband tells me that the Barrett-Jackson Auction is shown on TV on one of the cable channels that features automotive shows.  I wouldn't know, as I rarely watch TV, and I am not familiar with any car cable TV channels.

This photo illustrates that the interior of old cars is so much simpler than today.  Where is the navigation system screen?

This week we have photos of the ancient Khmer temples around Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia posted  on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

The austerity of the classic car interiors, as well as the enhancement of value by keeping mileage low, reflects that the pleasure of collecting classic cars must be in owning the car more than driving it.

Great colors on steering wheel. You right the dashboard is pretty bare.

It's been lovingly restored. I wonder if Jay Leno will attend this year? I understand he's bought cars from that auction in the past.
