Photo: Saguaros at Night

Here is a photo of the Desert Botanical Garden at night.

It is time for the Luminarias Special Event at the Garden.

This is always a great event. Don't miss it.

Music, food, and fabulous cactus with night lights.

This week we are showing photos of Papua New Guinea on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.  We returned about one week ago.  It was a wonderful mix of native cultures, South Pacific scenery, a total solar eclipse, a volcano erupting at night, and colorful coral reefs.

It is unusual to see a desert hillside illuminated at night sufficiently to get a photo of cacti such as your photo today.

I think I'll head out there one night next week, tripod in hand!
