Photo: Quail

After showing photos recently from the top of a high rise office building and prior to that from our hot air balloon trip, I thought we should have a change of pace and get down to earth.

This is a photo of a quail in our backyard.  We like that we have many quail who scurry about in our yard.  The usually spend their time in the bushes rather than out in the lawn, but we recently had the grass seeded for our winter lawn, and the quail had a feast on the seeds.
