Photo: High Rise Reflecting the Setting Sun

This is a wider view of the top of the office building that I showed yesterday.  It was reflecting the last rays of the sun just before  the sun dropped below the horizon.

The camera both exaggerates the glow and exaggerates the darkness of the horizon in the background because a camera does not handle the extremes of light contrast nearly as well as does the human eye.

This week we are showing photos of the bottom of the Grand Canyon on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

Dave and you both are showing highrise buildings today, but they are very different.

I have seen the same effects with strong contrasts of light. There is probably a way to reduce them, but I don't know what it is.

I love seeing this glow on the buildings.

This is really a nice and informative, containing all information and also has a great impact on the new artist. Thanks for sharing it.
